Course Description:

This course is a combination of photographing in the vicinity of Shawnigans Landing at sunrise and sunset, daily personal  critiques, and software training.

Focusing on plugins primarily, we will be discussing and illustrating Nik Software, Topaz, and HDR software. iPhone photography is encouraged! The goal of this class is to increase the student’s skills using visualization and software optimization to create compelling imagery.

DAILY CLASS PLAN: sunrise - shoot, breakfast and break to process, afternoon class for presentations and student critiques, short break then out for sunset. This schedule is

a rough guideline predicated upon school functions.

About The Instructor:

Tony's photography is published worldwide in every medium. His work is represented by the Getty Picture Agency. His images are also used by Nikon, NikSoftware, Singh Ray, Alien Skin, Lensbaby, and others for national ad campaigns.

Tony conducts Visual Artistry photography location workshops, and maintains an active speaking schedule to photography organizations, industry trade shows, and PPA schools throughout the continental United States and Canada. Tony's articles and images are featured in Shutterbug and Rangefinder magazines, and is a contributor to Nikonnet.com. He is a staff writer for Nikon World magazine. Tony is an instructor on betterphoto.com.

He has authored five books on the art of photography: Fine Art Nature Photography ('02), Fine Art Flower Photography ('05), and Fine Art Nature Photography: Water, Ice, Fog ('07), and Fine Art Digital Photography (’09), HDR Photography (summer, 2011). Tony has co-produced 4 photography DVDs: Visual Artistry, HDR Made Easy, Visual Literacy, and Flower Photography Artistry.

Tony is a Nikon Legend Behind the Lens, a charter member of Team Nik (NikSoftware), a Lensbaby Guru, and a Bogen mentor.[1]
